A new Parks and Recreation System Development Charge (SDC) Methodology is being proposed for adoption by Albany City Council. The new methodology is needed to reflect changes in the existing master plan system and projected needs for the future master plan.
Oregon SDC law requires a 90-day notification period prior to the first public hearing for adoption of a methodology modification, and the proposed methodology must be made available 60 days prior to the public hearing.
It is the City of Albany’s intent to hold a public hearing to consider the new parks and recreation methodology. The public hearing on the new methodology will be held on January 27, 2021. Comments can be made at the public hearing or in writing in advance of the Council meeting on January 27, 2021. Written testimony received 10 days prior to the hearing will be included in the Council packet.
